Specifically addressing student with disability outcomes (Interviewing Department of Labor Rehabilitation Counselor, VSU Access Office, teachers of an individual disability in this specific regard)
• The purpose of this reflection is to learn what has worked and not worked for students with disabilities as they leave the public school system and move into post-secondary education or the world of work. What frustrations might have been experienced in dealing with the students, parents, school staff, etc.? This information will allow you, as a future educator to provide more effective supports and be more successful in making Transition successful for the student to achieve the maximum benefit.
